Preparing All Students For Success
At Henry, we are serious about
preparing students for success in high school and laying the groundwork
for the skills they will need in college or the workplace. Students and
teachers build strong relationships that keep students motivated.
In addition to IB, we offer AVID elective courses focusing on the study and planning skills students need in college. Students visit college campuses and participate in tutorials led by college students. AVID has a national college acceptance rate of 95 percent.
Henry students may continue their IB education at John F. Kennedy High School or in any other challenging learning environment.
Leading college admissions expert Barmak Nassirian recently told Education Week, a national weekly magazine specializing in eddcuation issues, that IB is generally regarded as "the gold standard of high school curriculum in admissions circles."
